What Pexido is
A place to find a counselor, and the tools to keep the appointment.
Being clear about this matters, so here it is plainly: Pexido introduces you to a counselor and manages the booking. It is not a treatment provider, and it does not stand between you and the person you decide to work with.
What Pexido does
- Lists licensed counselors with verified credentials, specialties, languages and fees.
- Matches you to a shortlist based on a few short questions, if you would rather not sift through a directory.
- Shows real availability and books the appointment.
- Sends reminders by text and push so the appointment doesn't slip.
- Handles deposits and payments securely, when the counselor uses that service.
- Hosts the video session inside the platform, with no recording.
What Pexido does not do
- Provide therapy, diagnosis, or any medical or clinical advice.
- Employ counselors, or supervise how they practise.
- Sit in on your sessions — nobody from Pexido is ever in the room.
- Contract with insurance companies, or file claims on anyone's behalf.
- Take a cut of what your counselor earns.
- Act as an emergency or crisis service.

Set weekly working hours plus exceptions, session length and buffer time. One-way sync pushes Pexido appointments into your Google or Outlook calendar, and reads your busy blocks back so you never get double-booked.

Optional deposits, automatic text and push reminders, easy rescheduling, and a cancellation policy chosen from clear ready-made templates that clients see up front.
Get paid without chasing
Collect a deposit or the full fee through the platform. Money lands in your Pexido balance and you withdraw to your bank via Stripe. Refunds stay entirely your call.

How Pexido makes money
A flat monthly subscription. No commission, ever.
Pexido earns from counselor subscriptions and nothing else. That is a deliberate choice: when the platform doesn't take a slice of each session, nobody has a reason to take the relationship elsewhere, and the price never punishes a counselor for being busy.
Counselors: a base subscription plus the services you switch on
You start from a flat base amount, then add only the tools you actually use — collecting deposits, collecting full session fees, or running video sessions. Each has its own fixed monthly price, and your bill is always shown as one running total. Switch a service off and it stops from the next billing period. New counselors start on a free trial period.
Clients pay no platform fee
You pay your counselor's fee — that's it. Pexido adds nothing on top, and no service charge appears anywhere in the booking flow.
Deposits belong to the counselor
When you pay a deposit, it comes off your session fee and goes to your counselor. It is part of what they were charging anyway, not an extra, and it is not Pexido revenue.
Exact prices are still being set. Subscription figures will be published here before Pexido opens to the public.
Privacy and safety
Built for information people don't hand over lightly.
Encrypted where it counts
Sensitive information — client details, insurance data, private counselor notes and messages — is encrypted, and was designed that way from the start rather than added later.
Administrator access is accountable
Staff access to sensitive records requires a recorded reason, and every access is logged. Nobody browses freely.
Video that isn't stored
Sessions run through a third-party video provider chosen on one hard requirement: that it signs a Business Associate Agreement covering health information. Nothing is recorded, and nobody from Pexido attends.
Reviews can't expose you
Reviews are read for privacy before they are published, and shown without any identity attached — the counselor cannot tell who left one either.
