In development — early profiles opening soon
Your listing and your practice, finally in the same place.
Most counselor directories stop at the profile — you get found, then you go back to juggling a calendar, a payment app and a pile of insurance paperwork somewhere else. Pexido puts the booking, the money and the admin behind the same profile clients find you through. One flat monthly subscription, and no commission on your sessions.
Your profile
Built to be chosen, not just listed.
You build your profile step by step and can stop and resume at any point, with a progress bar showing what's left and a preview of exactly how clients will see you.
Verified credentials
Your license number and state go to review before your profile appears in search. Once cleared, a verified-license badge sits on your public profile.
An intro video
Optional, and one of the strongest things you can add. Choosing a counselor is a question of fit, and thirty seconds of you talking answers it better than any bio.
Specialties and languages
Pick your specialties from a reference list — focused profiles perform better, so three to five is the sweet spot — plus every language you practise in.
Session type and location
Online, in person, or both. In-person profiles carry a real address so you show up for clients searching within a radius of where they live.
Insurance you accept
Choose from a reference list. Clients who recorded their insurance see an "accepts your insurance" badge on your card — one of the strongest filters they use.
Your fee, stated plainly
Your session fee and your cancellation policy are visible before anyone books, which removes the awkward conversation and the surprise cancellations both.
Calendar and appointments
Your availability, honestly reflected.
Working hours and exceptions
Set a repeating weekly pattern, then add exceptions for holidays and time off. Session length and the gap between sessions generate your bookable slots automatically.
Two-way protection against double-booking
Pexido appointments push out to your Google or Outlook calendar so your personal calendar is always right, and your existing busy blocks are read back so Pexido never offers a slot you can't take.
Approve, decline, or propose another time
Every request can be confirmed, declined with a reason, cancelled, moved, or turned into a recurring series. Turn on auto-confirm if you'd rather skip the step.
A waiting list that works by itself
Clients can join a waiting list for a time range. When a slot frees up, Pexido notifies them automatically — you don't have to do anything.
Free intro calls
Switch on a short introductory call — fifteen minutes by default, free, online only. It is the lowest-friction way for a hesitant client to become a booked one.
Intake form before the first session
Optionally collect a short intake form when a new client books, so you walk into the first session already knowing the basics.
Getting paid
Deposits, payouts and a balance you control.
Collect a deposit, or the whole fee
Two separate services you can switch on independently. Take a deposit that comes off the session fee, or take the full amount up front. Leave both off and clients simply pay you directly — the booking still works.
The deposit is yours
A deposit is part of your fee, not a surcharge on top of it, and not Pexido revenue. It lands in your Pexido balance and you withdraw it to your bank through Stripe.
A clear transaction history
Every movement — deposits in, full payments in, withdrawals, subscription charges, refunds — is listed in plain language, not accounting shorthand.
Pay your subscription from your balance
Flip a switch and next month's subscription comes out of your Pexido balance instead of your card, whenever the balance covers it.
Refunds stay your decision
You issue refunds from the appointment itself. Pexido holds the money and stays out of the conversation between you and your client.
Cancellation policy templates
When you turn on deposits you choose one of a few sensible ready-made policies rather than drafting your own. Clients see it in plain language before they pay.
Running the practice
The parts nobody advertises, but everybody deals with.
Your client list
Everyone who has booked with you, with their session history, contact details, their insurance if they shared it, their intake answers, and your own encrypted private notes for coordination.
Insurance reporting
Choose a date range and export a PDF or CSV of your insured clients' sessions — who, which insurer, what date, how long. Pexido isn't contracted with insurers and never files on your behalf; the report exists so the form you file takes minutes.
Messaging, kept in its lane
Real-time messaging with clients for scheduling and short questions, with a standing reminder to both sides not to use it for therapeutic content, and a report button on every message.
Video sessions in the platform
One button from your dashboard opens the room, live a few minutes before the start. The underlying provider is chosen on a single hard requirement — that it signs a Business Associate Agreement. Nothing is recorded.
Statistics that are actually yours
Monthly search impressions, profile views, bookings and intro calls, plus your view-to-booking conversion versus last month. Your own numbers only — Pexido never ranks you against other counselors.
Reviews, and your reply
Only real clients can review you, and every review is privacy-checked first. Reviews are anonymous even to you, and you can reply publicly to any of them.
Pricing
Flat monthly subscription. No cut of your sessions.
A base amount plus the services you choose to switch on. Each service carries its own fixed monthly price, so the counselor who uses a tool is the one who pays for it.
- No commission. Your subscription doesn't change when you get busier.
- Free trial to start. Full use of the platform for a trial period before any payment.
- One bill. Base plus services shown as a single running total, always visible.
- Changes apply next period. Switch a service off and it stops at the next billing cycle — nothing is prorated against you mid-month.
- Your data stays put. If a trial ends without payment, your profile leaves search but your data stays exactly where it is.
Exact prices are still being set and will be published here before Pexido opens. If you'd like to be told when they are, send us a note.
Getting started
Four steps, and you can stop between any of them.
-
We ask first
No profile is ever created without your say-so. You get a short note explaining Pexido and asking whether you'd like a free profile — declining ends it, and you won't hear from us again.
-
Activate your profile
Confirm your phone number, set your login, and the profile is yours.
-
Fill it in at your pace
Photo, bio, specialties, languages, license, fee, insurance and availability — step by step, saved as you go.
-
Go live
Once your license clears review, you appear in search and can start taking bookings.
